First Time User Registration for EVMS ILLiad Service

ILLiad is Eastern Virginia Medical School Library's request tracking and delivery system for interlibrary loan and document delivery.

Requests from our collection:
ILLiad service for books and document delivery from the EVMS library collection is available to:
* Faculty * Students * Staff * Courtesy Clients * Subscription Clients.

       Fees:
       EVMS Library staff will fill requests from our own collection at a cost of $0.15 per page,
       billable to the account you designate.

Requests via Interlibrary Loan
When the EVMS Library does not own the item needed, the request will be obtained from another library if possible.
ILLiad service for interlibrary loan is limited to:
* Faculty * Students * Staff

        Fees:
        We may be able to obtain articles at no cost. Any fees from the lending library will be billed to your designated account.
        Fees generally range from $9.00 to $15.00.
        Interlibrary loan users may specify a maximum acceptable cost for each article requested.

To request an item through ILLiad, you must register in the library's ILLiad system using your Web browser. Registration serves three purposes:

Entering your personal information into the ILLiad system means you will not have to supply the information again when making future requests.
Having your e-mail and regular mail addresses on file with ILLiad enables us to notify you promptly and deliver materials accurately when your request arrives in the library.
By specifying a Username and Password of your choosing, you will have secure access to information about your requests. You will also be able to review the list of items you have requested in the past.

About your Username and Password

During registration, choose a Username and Password to use when logging on to ILLiad in the future.

Username		Password
Choose anything you like, such as your name, abbreviations, or an alphanumeric code.		Choose anything you like. Only you will know your password. Passwords are case sensitive.
Loansome Doc users must use their email address as the username for both ILLiad and NLM Loansome Doc.		It is good security practice to choose a password that is different from those you use to access other systems.
